The recently announced increase in the cost of stamps - first class stamps from 46p to 60p; second class from 36p to 50p from April 30th - is a body blow to the bureau and we estimate it could cost us £1000 a year which, as a local charity, we do not have. There has been no increase in our funding for 3 years and we already have to find £ 10000 per year just to keep the service going. We cannot avoid this cost because it is an integral part of our client work, particularly our debt advice work.We already send the vast majority of our mail second class and we cannot use email because it is not secure. If anyone could help with donations to help offset this cost we would be very grateful.
You can call us on   0844 4111444 (the best time to call is between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM on weekdays)
We offer advice on a wide range of subjects covering: your money; your family; your daily life; and your rights.
You can get advice in several ways including: personal consultation; phone; and online.
We are partially funded by Epsom & Ewell Borough Council, but this does not cover all of our costs. We rely on donations to make up the difference. More
Volunteers are the lifeblood of our service. We are always looking for volunteer advisers and people to help run our office.
